The first Dr. Maria Tee was launched in February 2020 as a way to celebrate Black History Month. The messages on the shirts acknowledge the importance of an individuals mental wellness, particularly in the Black community. This appeal line serve as a practical reminder that we must prioritize our mental health to ensure a high quality of life. They prompt the benefits of therapy, breaking generational trauma and shifting the narrative about being mentally healthy. The goal with each appeal is to help increase awareness while being fashionable because your mental health matters.
The Fit:

This makes for a great staple t-shirt that compliments any outfit. It's made of a heavier cotton and the double-stitched neckline and sleeves give it more durability, so it can become an everyday favorite.
Pre- Shrunk

100% airlume combed and ringspun cotton, 32 singles
Grey is 99.9% airlume combed and ringspun cotton, 1% polyester
Your Shirt Care:
Wash inside out, using cold water, hang or lay flat to dry to maintain the quality of the shirt and print. To preserve the print on the garment flip inside out and iron on low heat. After which iron the remainder of the shirt on medium to high heat to your liking. Not intended for sleepwear.
